Three Killed, Six Injured in Tragic Highway Collision in Barwani

According to Barwani in-charge SP Dheeraj Babbar, the accident involved a two-wheeler and a pickup vehicle at Golanjya Phata. The two-wheeler, carrying two individuals, was reportedly traveling from the wrong side on AB Road when it collided head-on with the pickup, which was transporting labourers. The impact was so severe that the pickup vehicle overturned immediately after the collision.
Victims Identified and Casualties
The three deceased have been identified as Vinod Mujalde (19) and Rajesh Mujalde (22), both residents of Raswa village under Balakwada police station in Khargone, who were on the two-wheeler. Additionally, Roshni Sastre (20), a resident of Samartalai under Thikri police station who was seated in the pickup, died on the spot.
Among the injured, two women—Roshni Dawar (19) and Kesari Bai (42), both from Samartalai village—sustained serious injuries. They were promptly referred to the district hospital in Barwani for advanced medical treatment. Four other occupants of the pickup vehicle received minor injuries: Lalita Dawar (17), Sharmila (30), Hiralal (30), and Bablu (18).
