Abhishek Chauhan, originally from Auraiya district in Uttar Pradesh, worked as housekeeping staff at a hotel in Sector 24. He resided in a rented house in S Block of the same sector with his brother, Anuj. In his police complaint, Anuj revealed that Abhishek had traveled to Manesar on Friday to meet his friend Govind. The two were riding a motorcycle for some work when the tragic collision occurred near Silvertrack Hospital. While Abhishek succumbed to his injuries, Govind remains hospitalized in serious condition.
Second Incident: Pedestrian Struck Near Kherki Daula Underpass
In another heartbreaking incident on Friday evening, an unidentified vehicle struck a young man who was walking near the Kherki Daula underpass. Alert passersby rushed the injured pedestrian to a local hospital, but doctors declared him dead upon examination. Police officials noted that the deceased remains unidentified as no documents were found on his person. The body has been placed in the mortuary while authorities continue their investigation to establish his identity.
Third Incident: Water Tanker Hits Pedestrian on Highway Service Road
The third fatal accident took place around 8 PM on the highway service road near Kherki Daula village. A 25-year-old pedestrian was killed after being struck by a water tanker. The victim, a resident of Pathankot in Punjab, worked for a private company and lived in a rented accommodation near Kherki Daula. This incident marked the third road fatality in the area within hours, highlighting serious concerns about road safety in this Gurgaon locality.
