Sathi railway station superintendent Santosh Kumar provided crucial insights into the sequence of events. "Initial investigations and conversations with locals revealed that the Amrit Bharat Express was traveling from Muzaffarpur to Narkatiaganj at the time," he explained. "The two young men were actively engaged in making reels using their mobile phones, completely unaware of the imminent danger."

"Seeing trains approaching simultaneously from both directions, the teenagers panicked and attempted to flee the area," Kumar stated.
