Sub-Divisional Magistrate Brijesh Saxena confirmed that the situation in Tarana was completely peaceful on Saturday. He stated, "Citizens are complying with the prohibitory orders that have been implemented. The overall situation in the town is now normal and showing consistent improvement." The SDM made a direct appeal to local shopkeepers, urging them to reopen their establishments while assuring them that the administration had made comprehensive security arrangements to protect businesses and residents alike.
Despite these assurances and appeals from officials, only a limited number of shops chose to open their doors for business. By the afternoon hours, even the shops located at the busy Tarana bus stand had closed, reflecting the cautious approach of local merchants following the recent unrest.

Block Medical Officer Dr. Pramod Argal reported that the community health center in Tarana remained fully operational despite the tense situation. "Patients who visited the OPD during the morning hours received proper medical treatment. We attended to individuals suffering from common ailments such as cold, cough, and fever, though the patient turnout was relatively low compared to normal days," Dr. Argal explained, highlighting that essential healthcare services continued without disruption.
Police Maintain Vigilance and Take Action Against Offenders
Assistant Superintendent of Police Guruvar Prasad Parashar detailed the security measures being implemented, noting that police personnel were conducting regular patrols across the town with security forces positioned at all key locations. "We are adopting a strict approach toward anyone attempting to spread unrest or disrupt peace. Approximately 18 individuals have been taken into custody as part of our efforts to maintain order," the ASP stated.

According to Tarana Police Station in-charge RNS Bhadauria, six accused individuals involved in the assault case were presented before a judicial magistrate on Saturday.
