Hisar: At least six youths allegedly barged into a house in Balaji Colony on Sunday night and fatally attacked a youth with sharp-edged weapons over an old rivalry. Police have so far arrested four accused in the case.
Incident Details
According to the complaint filed by the 26-year-old deceased's brother, Sachin Kumar, the victim Monu was sitting near his house with friends when the accused arrived and picked up a quarrel, which escalated into a brawl. Police said Monu had a prior dispute with one of the accused, Arun, which is believed to be the trigger behind the attack.
Attack and Aftermath
The assailants allegedly thrashed Monu before stabbing him multiple times with a sharp-edged weapon. He was rushed to the Fatehabad Civil Hospital and later referred to Agroha Medical College. However, he succumbed to his injuries on the way.
Legal Action
A case of murder has been registered, and further investigation is underway. Fatehabad DSP Sanjay Kumar said the arrested accused include Shankar Lal of Azad Nagar, Kitab alias Kitab Singh of Kirti Nagar, Arun of Balaji Colony and Abhilash of Dhani Ishar.
Previous Criminal Records
Police said three cases were earlier registered against Shankar Lal, one against Kitab Singh and two against Abhilash.
