Alerted by terrified residents, a substantial police team from the Barrackpore Commissionerate rushed to the scene. The force was led by Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central) Indra Badon Jha. Upon conducting a thorough search of the area, the officers made a critical discovery. They recovered two empty cartridges from the spot, which will be crucial for the forensic investigation. Fortunately, authorities confirmed that no injuries were reported in the alarming episode.
