Bribe Demand for Land Mutation Processing

Shailendra Sah filed a complaint against the officer. He is the son of late Ramashray Prasad and lives in Bagheji under Barauli police station area. Shailendra alleged that the revenue officer demanded money for processing the mutation of land. Mutation refers to the official transfer of name on land records.

The Vigilance Investigation Bureau office in Patna received this complaint. Their team conducted a verification process. They found credible evidence supporting the allegation of illegal gratification demand. Once they established the facts, an FIR was registered at the vigilance police station on January 12.
