The duo then forcibly took the students near a bus stand, where they called two more accomplices, escalating the situation.
The four accused proceeded to beat the student and his friend, with threats to kill the former, and snatched Rs 6,000 from him. In a further act of coercion, they took the student to an ATM kiosk along the Talegaon-Chakan Road, forcing him to withdraw an additional Rs 8,000 before fleeing the scene. The total amount stolen was Rs 14,000, leaving the victims traumatized and seeking justice.
