The deceased has been identified as 55-year-old Tukaram Madhe, a resident of Ahilyanagar district. Madhe was traveling in the pickup truck at the time of the collision. Police reports indicate that the SUV was approaching from the Ale Phata direction when it collided with the oncoming pickup truck.
Immediate Aftermath and Rescue Efforts
"All ten occupants from both vehicles sustained severe injuries in the impact," stated an officer from the Ale Phata police station. "Local residents promptly rushed to the scene and transported the injured to a nearby hospital for emergency medical treatment."
Despite receiving medical attention, Tukaram Madhe succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at the hospital. The other nine victims continue to receive care for their serious injuries.
