Noida Unrest Probe Uncovers Well-Planned Conspiracy, Not Mere Labor Protest
Investigations into the recent unrest in Noida have shifted focus from a labor protest to a well-planned conspiracy, with authorities revealing that a significant number of those involved were not workers. According to high-level sources, the initial probe indicates the involvement of external elements and non-workers, suggesting a deliberate attempt to disrupt the industrial hub.
Arrest Statistics Highlight Non-Worker Involvement
Of the 66 individuals arrested so far, 45 were not laborers, pointing to a broader conspiracy. In connection with arson incidents, 17 people were identified, with 11 arrests made—including eight non-workers. Similarly, 32 individuals were identified for instigating violence, resulting in 19 arrests. Additionally, 34 non-workers who allegedly joined the agitation to create unrest have been detained.
Probe into Orchestrated Networks and Social Media Coordination
Authorities have arrested four individuals accused of orchestrating the conspiracy, with alleged links to organized networks. Investigators are examining the involvement of certain groups and external elements, including suspected coordination through social media platforms to incite violence and spread panic. Officials stated that the violence—involving arson and stone-pelting—was not solely driven by labor grievances but aimed at disrupting Noida's economic ecosystem.
Swift Government Response and Restoration of Normalcy
Under the directions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, authorities moved quickly to contain the situation and address workers' concerns. Following the announcement of wage revisions, both laborers and industrial units cooperated, leading to the rapid restoration of normal operations in factories. Industrial activity has largely resumed, with production lines functioning normally.
Zero Tolerance Policy and Ongoing Investigations
The government has reiterated its commitment to maintaining law and order under a zero tolerance policy, warning that strict action will continue against those involved in instigating violence or attempting to destabilize the industrial environment. The situation, which escalated briefly, was brought under control through coordinated intervention by police and the administration.
