Fresh SIA Raids in Kashmir Uncover Evidence in Red Fort Blast Probe
New SIA Raids in Kashmir Over Delhi Red Fort Blast Module

In a significant development in the investigation into the deadly Delhi terror attack, the Jammu and Kashmir State Investigation Agency (SIA) has carried out a fresh series of raids across two districts of Kashmir. The operations are part of the ongoing probe into a terror module allegedly connected to the November 10 explosion near the Red Fort in the national capital.

Raids Target Key Locations in Ganderbal and Srinagar

According to official sources, the raids were conducted on Friday in the districts of Ganderbal and Srinagar. These actions are specifically linked to the recovery of a weapon in November. Among the premises searched was the residence of Tufail Bhat, an individual who was arrested earlier in connection with the same case. The SIA confirmed that "several incriminating materials" were seized during these coordinated operations.

This latest move by the state agency follows a similar pattern of investigations by central authorities. Just days earlier, on December 1, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) had itself conducted raids across various districts, focusing on locations tied to individuals arrested from the same terror network.

The Lethal Delhi Blast and Module Unraveling

The terror module under scrutiny is accused of orchestrating the car bomb explosion near Delhi's historic Red Fort on November 10, 2025. The blast resulted in the tragic loss of 13 lives. Investigators allege the vehicle was driven by Umar Nabi, a doctor from Kashmir who was employed at Faridabad’s Al Falah School of Medical Sciences & Research Centre. The probe has revealed a disturbing trend, with several other medical professionals from Kashmir also being accused of involvement and subsequently arrested.

In a crucial pre-blast discovery, the Jammu and Kashmir Police had earlier recovered a massive cache of explosive-making materials. This seizure, which included over 350 kg of ammonium nitrate, was made during raids in Faridabad, Haryana. The recovery was part of the investigation into this very module, highlighting the scale of the planned operations.

A Coordinated National Security Effort

The NIA, which is leading the central investigation, has stated that it has arrested seven accused in the case so far. The agency emphasized its continued commitment to "work closely with various state police forces to track and arrest every member of the terrorist module involved in the bomb attack."

The fresh raids by the SIA underscore the persistent and multi-agency effort to dismantle the entire network behind the Delhi attack. The seizure of new evidence in Kashmir indicates that investigators are actively pursuing all leads to ensure no individual linked to the violent act remains at large. The case continues to develop as agencies piece together the full extent of the module's plans and connections.
