While driving past Umrane village, Deepak Nafade, the 38-year-old driver, lost control of the vehicle. The car subsequently toppled on the roadside and turned turtle, leading to catastrophic consequences.
Victims and Injuries Identified
The deceased have been identified as:
- Ankita Nafade, aged 25
- Deepak Nafade, aged 38
- Pratamesh Naphade, aged 4
In addition to the fatalities, three other family members sustained injuries in the crash. The injured individuals are:
- Charulata Nafade
- Sanjay Nafade
- Puja Deepak Nafade
All three injured persons were promptly shifted to a hospital in Malegaon for medical treatment. Eyewitnesses reported that local residents in the area immediately sprang into action, assisting in moving the victims to the hospital using two ambulances.
