Muzaffarpur Police Apprehends Notorious Criminal 'Master' in Major Arms Raid
In a significant crackdown on illegal activities, police in Muzaffarpur district conducted a targeted raid on Sunday, leading to the arrest of the infamous criminal Bhairav Tripathi, widely known by his alias 'Master'. The operation took place in the Rahul Nagar area, where Tripathi was allegedly engaged in illicit arms dealings and was found in possession of a country-made pistol at the time of his capture.

According to official statements, Bhairav Tripathi, a resident of Muzaffarpur, has been involved in criminal enterprises since 2012. His cunning and strategic nature earned him the moniker 'Master' among his associates. An FIR has been registered under the Arms Act at the Brahmapur police station in connection with this case.
City SP Mohibullah Ansari provided insights into the operation, stating, "Police received confidential intelligence regarding an illegal arms transaction on Road no. 3 in Rahul Nagar, under the jurisdiction of the Town police station. A special investigation team (SIT), headed by Brahmapura SHO Vipin Ranjan, swiftly executed a raid at the location, resulting in the arrest of Bhairav with a country-made pistol and a mobile phone."

The police investigation reveals that Tripathi has a lengthy and serious criminal history. More than half a dozen grave cases, including charges of murder, robbery, and violations of the Arms Act, are registered against him at various police stations across the district. Notably, he was recently released from jail in a prior Arms Act case, only to resume his illicit activities.
SP Ansari emphasized, "Bhairav had been supplying illegal weapons to criminal gangs for an extended period. Law enforcement agencies consider him a pivotal figure in an arms syndicate, highlighting the significance of this arrest in disrupting organized crime networks."
