A 35-year-old man lost his life in a shocking accident near Mussoorie. His car rolled into a 150-metre-deep gorge near Kandikhal village in the Kempty area. Police confirmed the incident on Sunday.

Vijay Kumar worked as a driver from Kairana in Uttar Pradesh. He had driven five tourists from Shamli to Mussoorie. The group stayed at a hotel near Kempty. Reports indicate Kumar was sleeping inside the parked vehicle during the night.
Tourists discovered the car missing in the morning. They immediately alerted the police. Prashant Chawla owns the vehicle. He shared information from hotel staff. They said the car remained parked outside until around 3 am. The driver slept inside at that time.
Chawla explained the morning discovery. He said they woke up to find neither the car nor the driver present.
