A bus driver was seriously injured after a minor allegedly stabbed him for advising him against alcohol consumption at a bus stand in Madhya Pradesh’s Sagar district. The incident took place on Thursday at the Jaisinagar bus stand.

Incident Details

According to police, the injured driver, identified as Madhu Patel, was standing near the bus when an intoxicated minor approached him. Patel allegedly advised the boy against consuming alcohol at such a young age.

Angered by the advice, the minor allegedly started abusing the driver. When Patel objected, an argument broke out between the two. Police said the minor then pulled out a knife and attacked Patel, inflicting injuries to his back and abdomen.

Medical Response

People present at the spot intervened and rushed the injured driver to Jaisinagar Hospital. Following initial treatment, he was referred to the district hospital after his condition was found to be serious.

Legal Action

A case has been registered against the minor, who has been taken into custody and questioned. Further investigation is underway while the injured driver continues to undergo treatment.
