New Delhi, December 5, 2025: A shocking incident of murder and robbery unfolded in the national capital's Rohini area, leading to the apprehension of a juvenile accused. The Delhi Police confirmed that a man was stabbed to death and robbed of his mobile phone on Wednesday night.
Sequence of the Fatal Incident
According to the police, the crime occurred late on Wednesday, December 5. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Rohini) Sandeep Gupta provided a detailed account. At approximately 10:33 PM, the Prem Nagar police station received an urgent PCR call reporting a stabbing. A police team rushed to the scene immediately but discovered that the victim had already been transported to SGM Hospital for urgent medical attention.
Unfortunately, upon arrival at the hospital, doctors examined the injured man and declared him dead. The swift and violent attack had claimed a life, prompting an immediate investigation.
Swift Police Action and Arrest
The investigation took a decisive turn with the use of technical surveillance and digital evidence. Relying on this technical data, the police teams successfully tracked down the location of the suspect. The accused, identified as a juvenile, was subsequently apprehended from the Prem Nagar area itself.
During preliminary questioning, the minor allegedly confessed to committing the crime. Acting on his disclosure, the police recovered the weapon used in the stabbing as well as the victim's stolen mobile phone. These recoveries are considered crucial material evidence in the ongoing case.
Legal Proceedings and Ongoing Probe
With the accused being a minor, the legal process will follow the guidelines of the Juvenile Justice Act. Official proceedings against the apprehended juvenile have been initiated by the authorities.
