A 40-year-old man was allegedly stabbed multiple times by his live-in partner in Jaipur's Khorabeesal area, police said Saturday. FIRs have been registered from both sides.
Incident Details
Police stated that the man told investigators on Friday that the woman attacked him on April 18. He has been hospitalized since then. He reached a private hospital with the help of an acquaintance and later recorded his statement. The man sustained injuries to his chest and abdomen and is currently undergoing treatment.
Relationship Background
Officials revealed that the two had been living together after becoming friends on Instagram approximately five years ago.
Woman's Complaint
The woman also filed a complaint on Friday, alleging that the man frequently returned home drunk, assaulted her, and harassed her. She claimed she attacked him “in a fit of anger” after prolonged harassment.
Police Investigation
Khorabeesal police are investigating both complaints and verifying the sequence of events.
