A shocking incident of domestic violence culminated in murder and a subsequent surrender in Bengaluru on Friday night. A 45-year-old man took the life of his wife following a bitter dispute over her employment, before turning himself in to the authorities.
The Fatal Domestic Dispute
The tragic event unfolded at the couple's residence in Agrahara, Sampigehalli, located in north Bengaluru. The victim was identified as 39-year-old Ayesha Siddiqui. Her husband, Syed Jabi, aged 45 and self-employed, confessed to the Sampigehalli police that the argument erupted because Ayesha refused to quit her job at a massage and beauty parlour.

After committing the act, Syed did not flee. Instead, he walked into the Sampigehalli police station to confess to the murder, surrendering himself to the law.
