Lucknow Murder Case: Accused Used YouTube Tutorials for Body Disposal Planning
In a chilling revelation from the Lucknow father murder case, forensic analysis of the 19-year-old accused's mobile phone has uncovered that he extensively watched YouTube videos on methods to dispose of a human body. Police sources confirm that digital forensic examination revealed a clear pattern of searches and video consumption specifically related to dismembering and disposing of a corpse, which investigators believe played a crucial role in how the accused planned and executed his post-murder cover-up strategy.
The Gruesome Crime and Elaborate Cover-Up
The teenager allegedly shot his businessman father with the latter's licensed rifle around 4:30 AM on February 20 at their Aashiana residence. Faced with the challenge of disposing of his 110-kilogram father's body, the accused turned to online resources for guidance. According to police findings, he watched multiple tutorials before proceeding to order specialized tools including knives and a manual saw through various e-commerce platforms.
After acquiring these tools, the accused severed the hands from the shoulders and the legs above the knees, then concealed the torso in a large plastic drum at the family home. Following the initial dismemberment, he spent the next two days meticulously arranging transportation methods for the torso to a potential dumping location. Investigators report that the accused wrapped the torso in polythene and sealed it inside the drum, which was later recovered from his room during the investigation.
Methodical Preparation and Evidence Collection
Police investigation has revealed that the accused visited three different shops before purchasing a blue plastic drum specifically sized to fit inside his Maruti Brezza car. He additionally purchased thick polythene sheets and 20 liters of kerosene, possibly intended to mask odors and facilitate disposal. Law enforcement authorities are currently collecting CCTV footage and billing records from local markets to corroborate these purchases and establish a complete timeline of events.
In an attempt to divert suspicion, the teenager lodged a formal missing person complaint at the Aashiana police station and made an astonishing 135 phone calls to various individuals, ostensibly to project anxiety about his father's disappearance. Police are now analyzing his phone's call detail records (CDR) to determine whether he sought assistance from anyone during this period, with investigators probing all contacts made in the days following the murder.
Broader Context and Psychological State
Police sources indicate that after committing the murder, the accused attempted to contact a family lawyer, insisting on a private meeting and claiming urgent matters needed discussion. However, the lawyer was unavailable due to court commitments. During this critical period, the accused is believed to have informally confessed the crime to a few acquaintances, though formal statements are still being verified.
Social media posts by family friends point toward long-standing domestic discord within the household. A Facebook post by neighbor Anshuman Dubey suggested strained relations between the father and children, noting that the accused lost his mother when he was just 11 years old. The post further alluded to alleged influence from relatives, ongoing financial disputes, and complicated personal relationships that contributed to mounting tensions within the family structure.
The accused has been lodged in Lucknow jail since his arrest on February 23. Jail sources report that he appears psychologically disturbed, consumes minimal food, and remains awake throughout the night, displaying clear signs of trauma and distress following the horrific events. The investigation continues as authorities piece together the complete sequence of this meticulously planned yet tragically executed crime.
