In a disturbing incident in Hisar, a lawyer was brutally attacked by a group of men after he raised objections to them performing dangerous car stunts in a public parking lot. The assault occurred on the night of February 11 in the Sector 16-17 parking area, prompting immediate police action.

Details of the Incident and Police Response

According to police reports, the victim, identified as Abhimanyu Sura, a resident of Bugana village, was standing with a friend near his scooter when the occupants of a Hyundai Creta allegedly began performing reckless stunts and driving perilously close to them. When Sura objected to their hazardous behavior, the situation escalated violently.

The assailants, led by a youth named Ajju and his associates, allegedly kicked Sura and attacked him with sharp weapons. In a further act of aggression, they snatched his mobile phone as he attempted to call the police for help. Sura also reported that his purse went missing during the altercation, adding to the severity of the incident.

Legal Proceedings and Ongoing Investigation

Following the attack, Sura was admitted to a hospital for treatment of his injuries. The Civil Lines police station has registered a First Information Report (FIR) against Ajju and his associates under the relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Authorities have confirmed that an investigation is currently underway, with concerted efforts being made to locate and arrest the accused individuals.
