A tragic incident occurred in Hazaribag district of Jharkhand on Thursday, where a 32-year-old labourer lost his life and three others, including a contractor, sustained injuries. The accident happened when a wall of a dilapidated building collapsed during repair work near Madina Masjid in Konra Shadi Mohalla, situated under Barhi block.

Victims Identified

The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Dablu Ansari, a local resident. The injured individuals are Mohammad Minhaj, Mohammad Qurban, and Mohammad Sarfaraz. All three were immediately rushed to Barhi sub-divisional hospital for medical attention.

Medical Treatment and Death

Due to the severity of his injuries, Ansari was referred to Hazaribag for advanced treatment. However, he tragically succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital. Vinod Kumar, the officer-in-charge of Barhi police station, confirmed that the body was handed over to the family after a postmortem examination was conducted.
