A serious road accident occurred in Khargone district on Wednesday afternoon, resulting in injuries to thirty-two passengers when a private bus crashed into a roadside house. The incident took place in Ojhra village, located within Kasrawad tehsil, sending shockwaves through the local community.

Sub-Divisional Officer of Police (SDOP) Shweta Shukla provided details to media personnel, confirming that the bus was traveling from Khargone to Indore when it suddenly veered off the road. The vehicle collided with a residential house with significant force, causing substantial damage to the front portion of the bus and throwing passengers from their seats.
"The driver and conductor were among those injured in the crash," SDOP Shukla stated, emphasizing the severity of the impact. Police and local administration teams responded promptly to the emergency, coordinating rescue efforts at the scene.

All injured individuals were immediately transported to the government hospital in Kasrawad for urgent medical attention. Kasrawad Block Medical Officer Dr. Santosh Badole reported that thirty-two people received treatment at the community health centre, including ten women and six children.
Following initial stabilization, twenty-five patients required referral to the district hospital for more comprehensive care, while one critically injured passenger was transferred to a medical facility in Indore. The medical teams worked efficiently to manage the multiple trauma cases resulting from the violent collision.

Kshitij Gupta, a final-year engineering student who was traveling on the bus, described the terrifying moments before the crash. "I was on my way to Indore to appear for an examination when the bus suddenly lost balance," he recounted. "There was a strong impact upon crashing, and I was thrown upward, hitting the roof of the bus."
Gupta noted that the bus appeared to be traveling slightly faster than normal speed prior to the accident. However, SDOP Shukla clarified that preliminary investigations have ruled out overloading as a contributing factor, explaining that the bus operates with an online booking system and was carrying passengers within its designated seating capacity.
