Deputy Commissioner of Police Krishna Lalchandani confirmed that authorities have lodged a formal complaint against the accused, identified as Raju, a resident of Shraddhasaburi Colony. The second-year student's allegations have resulted in charges under sections related to molestation and criminal intimidation.
The police investigation has been initiated, with Dwarkapuri police launching a search operation to locate and apprehend the accused individual.

According to the student's police statement, she was alone at home while her mother was at work. The family's pet dog was tied outside the residence when the neighbor, who lives nearby, arrived claiming he wanted to feed the animal.
