Hyderabad Woman Brutally Murdered by Paramour in Erragadda
A 27-year-old woman from Secunderabad met a horrific end on Sunday night. She worked at a bar and restaurant in Begumpet. Her life was cut short near the Institute of Mental Health staff quarters in Erragadda.
Gruesome Discovery by Locals
Early Monday morning, local residents made a shocking discovery. They found the woman's body lying in bushes behind the staff quarters. The Borabanda police received an alert and rushed to the scene immediately.
Senior police officer SV Raghavendra Rao from SR Nagar described the grim findings. "Our team found the victim dead in a pool of blood," he stated. "We called the forensic team to collect evidence from the spot."
Initial investigations revealed a brutal attack. The woman suffered stab wounds from a sharp-edged weapon. A heavy boulder was also thrown onto her head. Police confirmed she died on the spot from these injuries.
Relationship Turned Deadly
The victim was married to a driver and had children. However, she had developed an affair with another man. This man runs a fruit juice shop in Allapur.
Police explained how their relationship soured. "They had an affair," a Borabanda police official said. "But recently she started avoiding him. The accused suspected she began seeing another man."
This suspicion allegedly led to the fatal confrontation. On Sunday night, the accused called the woman to meet him in Erragadda. He took her to a deserted area behind the staff quarters. After an argument, he allegedly stabbed and bludgeoned her to death.
Swift Police Action
After the discovery, police shifted the body to Osmania General Hospital mortuary for post-mortem. They registered a murder case under section 103(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
Borabanda police acted quickly. They took the accused into custody on Monday itself. Officers are currently interrogating him to uncover more details about the crime.
The woman had previously worked at a pub in Banjara Hills. It was during this time that she first came into contact with the accused. Her recent move to a Begumpet establishment did not sever their troubled connection.
This tragic incident has sent shockwaves through the local community. It highlights the dangers that can arise from personal disputes turning violent.
