To secure their release from hostels, she falsely informed staff of a family death, stating the children needed to attend a funeral.

The visuals show Vijaya and her children exiting their car, walking to the platform's end, and jumping in front of a passing train around 12:40 AM on January 31. Police have questioned multiple individuals, including Vijaya's husband Surender Reddy, who works in Dubai, her mother Pushpalatha, two neighbors, and three colleagues.
