A 24-year-old man from Hazaribag district, Jharkhand, met a tragic end in a fatal road accident in Oman on Wednesday, leaving his family in deep sorrow and seeking administrative help to bring his body home.

The deceased, identified as Pradeep Kumar, was a resident of Jabar village under the Bishnugarh police station limits. By profession, he worked as a mechanic. Kumar had traveled to Oman approximately three months ago as part of a group of 200 individuals recruited for a project involving the setup of transmission lines in the region.
According to reports, Kumar had fallen ill during his stay in Oman and was admitted to a local hospital for treatment. After being discharged, he was on his way back to his residence when the unfortunate accident occurred, resulting in his untimely death.

Upon receiving the news, the Bishnugarh police informed Kumar's father, Punas Mahto, about the incident. In response, Mahto has made a heartfelt appeal to the administration, urging them to facilitate the repatriation of his son's body to their village so that the last rites can be performed with dignity.
Confirming the development, Bishnugarh Sub-Divisional Police Officer B N Prasad stated, "We are looking into the matter for further action." The police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident and coordinating with relevant authorities to assist the family in their request.
