Gurgaon Police Arrest Two for Alleged Abduction and Torture of Five Boys in Nathupur

In a disturbing incident from Gurgaon, two men have been apprehended by police for allegedly abducting, torturing, and confining five young boys for several hours. The arrests were made on Wednesday in the Nathupur area, with authorities indicating that three or four additional suspects remain at large and are being actively pursued in connection with this heinous crime.

Details of the Arrested Accused and Their Background

The individuals taken into custody have been identified as Harendra, aged 35, and Firoz, aged 26. Harendra is a resident of Gurgaon who operates a flour mill and is also engaged in rental property activities. Firoz hails from Uttar Pradesh and owns a utensil shop within the city. Notably, police clarified that neither of the accused has any affiliation with the construction work or the ongoing project at the site where the incident originated.

Chronology of the Abduction and Confinement

According to official reports, the ordeal began on Monday when the children, whose ages range from 10 to 13 years, were playing near an under-construction building. The accused approached them, alleging that the boys had stolen iron rods and other construction materials from the site. Subsequently, the men forcibly took the children to a nearby paying guest accommodation, which is managed by one of their associates.

Concerned parents initiated a search for their missing children on Monday. By Tuesday, two mothers received information suggesting their sons were being held captive in a room nearby. Upon reaching the location, they confronted the accused. The women demanded the immediate release of their children, but the accused reportedly responded with verbal abuse and initially refused to open the door. They only relented after persistent pleas from the distressed parents.

Allegations of Severe Torture and Abuse

The parents have leveled serious allegations of torture against the accused. They claim that one of the men poured petrol on the private parts of the children. Additionally, it is alleged that hot spoons were applied to the bodies of the young victims, inflicting further pain and trauma. These accusations highlight the extreme brutality of the incident, which has shocked the local community.

Police Action and Investigation Progress

A formal complaint was lodged on Tuesday at the DLF Phase 3 police station, leading to the registration of a case under relevant legal sections. An investigation was promptly launched. On Wednesday, a police team, under the leadership of Sub-Inspector Pingaksh, who is in charge of the Nathupur police post, successfully arrested the two primary accused.

During interrogation, the accused disclosed that they frequently gathered near the construction site to smoke hookah. They discussed repeated thefts of construction materials, allegedly perpetrated by unknown individuals or scrap dealers. Acting on mere suspicion, they decided to detain the children and subjected them to physical assault.

Current Status and Ongoing Procedures

The five children are currently undergoing thorough medical examinations to assess their physical and psychological condition. Necessary legal procedures are being followed to ensure justice is served. Police officials have confirmed that the investigation is ongoing, with efforts focused on apprehending the remaining suspects and gathering all pertinent evidence related to this case.
