Gurgaon Salon Worker Arrested for Alleged Rape of Teen Colleague
In a disturbing incident from Gurgaon, a salon employee has been taken into custody by authorities for the alleged rape of his 17-year-old female colleague at her residence. Both individuals were employed at a salon situated in Sector 42, close to the bustling Cyber City area.

According to detailed police reports, the accused, who hails from Uttar Pradesh, meticulously spent several weeks attempting to build the young girl's trust and confidence. The situation escalated on March 12, when the victim found herself alone at home.
The accused arrived at her house under the guise of repairing her malfunctioning mobile phone. Seizing this opportunity, he is alleged to have sexually assaulted her before fleeing the scene promptly afterward.
Revelation and Previous Complaints
Following the traumatic event, the teenager courageously confided in the salon's operator, disclosing the assault she had endured. This disclosure prompted the operator to investigate further, uncovering that the accused had reportedly harassed multiple female employees at the salon on previous occasions.
Recognizing a pattern of predatory behavior, the operator immediately filed a formal complaint at the Sushant Lok police station, labeling the man as a habitual offender with a history of misconduct towards women.
Arrest and Legal Proceedings
Law enforcement acted swiftly, arresting the suspect in the city late on Wednesday night. During the arrest, authorities discovered two live cartridges in his possession, adding a concerning dimension to the case.
An FIR has been officially registered under the relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The accused was presented before the court on Thursday, where he was remanded to a two-day police custody for further interrogation and investigation.
