Three-Year-Old Girl Rescued from Bed Box After Abduction in Kotputli-Behror District
In a dramatic rescue operation, a three-year-old girl who went missing on Thursday morning was recovered the same day from inside a bed box in a room under the Sarund police station limits in Kotputli-Behror district. The police have arrested a 35-year-old man in connection with the abduction, identified as Sandeep alias Aalu Sen, a resident of a village in the same police station area.
Swift Police Action Leads to Arrest Under Pocso Act
According to police reports, a relative of the girl lodged a complaint on Thursday stating that the child had gone missing around 11 am while playing outside her house. Family members conducted an extensive search of the surrounding areas but were unable to trace her, prompting the police to register a case and launch an immediate investigation.
Superintendent of Police for Kotputli-Behror, Devendra Bishnoi, formed special teams to locate the child. The search operation involved police personnel, family members, villagers, a dog squad, and cyber teams, who combed through fields, wells, stepwells, and abandoned houses in the village. Officers also meticulously examined CCTV footage from cameras installed in and around the area to gather clues.

During the investigation, police received crucial inputs suggesting that Sandeep had visited the complainant's house that morning and could be involved in the abduction. Acting on this lead, a police team swiftly reached his room, where they discovered the girl hidden inside a bed box. The child was rescued unharmed, and the accused was arrested after interrogation.
Sandeep has been charged under relevant provisions of law, including sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (Pocso) Act. The police have emphasized the importance of community cooperation and advanced investigative techniques in resolving the case promptly.
