Deputy Superintendent of Police D T Gohil confirmed the basic details of the case, stating, "Upendrasinh Vaghela, a head constable at Sector-7 police station, died by suicide at his residence in Pethapur on Friday morning. On receiving information, officers from Pethapur police station and Sector-7 police station reached the spot and initiated further investigation."
