The passengers arrived from Bangkok on April 21 and were intercepted by officers based on profiling. Their baggage was scanned using X-ray machines and later checked in detail, during which nine polythene packets containing a green-coloured substance suspected to be ganja or marijuana were found in three trolley bags.

All four accused were arrested on Wednesday, and the seized substance along with packing material was taken into custody, officials said.
