A devastating fire erupted at the Udupi bus stand in Karnataka late on Wednesday night, reducing several shops to ashes. The blaze, which started around 11:30 PM, quickly spread across the commercial area, causing extensive damage to property. Fire tenders from Udupi and nearby areas rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control after a few hours of relentless effort.

Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the incident, as the shops were closed at the time of the fire. However, the loss of goods and infrastructure is estimated to be substantial. Shop owners expressed distress over the sudden destruction of their livelihoods.
