Details of the Ferozepur Accident
According to information received, the tragedy unfolded this morning. A group of students was traveling to their educational institution in a privately operated autorickshaw. As the vehicle reached the area near Pandori Khattrian, the driver was forced to take evasive action.
A speeding vehicle approaching from the opposite direction caused the auto driver to lose control in an attempt to avoid a collision. This sudden maneuver led to the autorickshaw turning turtle on the road.
The victims have been identified as two 14-year-old classmates from Government High School, Pandori Khattrian. Haskaran Singh, son of Gurpreet Singh, succumbed to his injuries. The other boy, Gurvinder Singh, son of Ravi, remains in a critical condition.

Local residents who witnessed the accident immediately rushed to help the injured children. They were first taken to a nearby private medical facility for urgent care.
Given the severity of their injuries, both students were subsequently referred to the Guru Gobind Singh Government Medical College in Faridkot for advanced treatment. Despite the best efforts of medical professionals, Haskaran Singh could not be saved. The community now prays for the recovery of Gurvinder Singh.
