Ex-RJD MLA Pappu Khan Evades Arrest in Land Fraud Raid

In a coordinated operation, police conducted a raid at the Biharsharif residence of former Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MLA Naushadun Nabi, widely known as Pappu Khan, in connection with a case involving land-related fraud and the use of forged documents. The case was registered at Vena police station, and the raid took place on Thursday under the supervision of Sadar (2) Deputy Superintendent of Police Sanjay Kumar Jaiswal.

Joint Police Team Conducts Raid

A joint team comprising personnel from multiple police stations, including Vena, Biharsharif town, Harnaut, Kalyan Bigha, Chero, and Bhagwan Bigha, participated in the operation. The team arrived at the residence of Pappu Khan and his wife, Aafreen Sultana, as part of a planned effort to arrest them in connection with the case. However, upon arrival, the police found both accused to be absconding.

Accused Fled Before Raid

According to police sources, the couple had received advance information about the planned action and fled the residence before the team's arrival. Following this discovery, search operations have been intensified across multiple locations to trace and apprehend the duo.

Officials stated that the case involves allegations that the accused conspired to illegally acquire land using forged documents and facilitated its registration in the name of Aafreen Sultana. The police are continuing their efforts to locate the former MLA and his wife.
