The deceased has been identified as Tushar Kumar, a 20-year-old compounder working at a local clinic. He resided in JJ Colony, Madanpur Khadar, Kalandi Kunj. "We encountered four to five dogs running toward us," Singh told investigators. "Tushar accelerated the motorcycle, but the headlight wasn't functioning properly. The vehicle climbed onto a pile of mud and then fell into a ditch. I managed to jump forward and landed on my hands, but Tushar's forehead struck the ground directly."

Separate Fatal Accident in South Delhi

In an unrelated incident, south Delhi witnessed another traffic fatality on Sunday evening. A 58-year-old tailor named Fakeere Khan from Devli Extension died after being run over by a water tanker tractor on Tigri Road.

According to Khan's son, his father came under the vehicle's tyre. The tanker owner, who is also the driver's brother, subsequently moved the vehicle from the accident scene.

Tigri police station registered a case under sections 281 and 106 against the driver. Authorities have arrested the tractor operator, identified as Rahul, who is 30 years old.
