Delhi Blast Investigation Expands to Faridabad Hideouts
Investigators probing the recent Delhi blast have made significant breakthroughs, uncovering two additional hideouts used by terror suspect Muzammil in Faridabad. The revelation comes as security agencies intensify their search operations across the National Capital Region.
New Hideouts Discovered in Police Raids
According to police sources familiar with the investigation, Muzammil had established multiple safe houses in Faridabad district beyond the previously known locations in Fatehpur Taga and Dhauj. The latest findings show the suspect rented properties using deceptive methods to avoid detection.
One of the newly discovered hideouts was a house rented from the former sarpanch of Khori Jamalpur village. Muzammil allegedly posed as a businessman looking to start a Kashmiri fruit enterprise, using this cover story to secure the property without raising suspicion among local residents.
Sophisticated Network of Safe Houses
The investigation has revealed that Muzammil maintained a sophisticated network of hideouts across Faridabad. In addition to the house in Khori Jamalpur village, police discovered a small room constructed on agricultural land belonging to a local farmer.
This pattern of using multiple locations demonstrates careful planning and suggests the suspect may have been preparing for extended operations in the region. The discovery of these additional hideouts occurred on November 27, 2025, marking a crucial development in the ongoing security operation.
Security agencies are now conducting thorough searches of all identified properties, gathering forensic evidence that could provide critical leads in the Delhi blast case. The investigation continues to expand as authorities work to dismantle the entire network associated with the terror suspect.
