The Child Welfare Committee (CWC) inquiry into the Elohim Global Worship Centre in Pathanamthitta, Kerala, has revealed that more children were allegedly abused at the facility. Three additional staff members have been arrested in connection with the case.
Background of the Case
The case was initially registered on June 17 by the Kattappana Police in Idukki district against three staff members of the worship centre for allegedly assaulting a boy from Anakkara. The CWC investigation has now uncovered evidence of abuse involving more children.
Arrests and Legal Proceedings
Police have arrested three more individuals linked to the centre. The accused are expected to be produced in court, and further investigations are underway to identify other potential victims.
The Elohim Global Worship Centre has been under scrutiny since the first complaint, and authorities are taking strict action to ensure justice for the affected children.
