Crude Bombs Found in Kannur Plantation Before Results

A cache of crude bombs was discovered in Poilur in Kannur on Sunday. Sources said that five bombs made using ball ice cream containers and one country-made bomb, known as a kettu bomb, were recovered.

The bombs were found buried in a bucket filled with sand in a coconut plantation. They were seized during a search conducted by police based on a tip-off. Police and bomb squad are conducting further inspections in the region considering the upcoming assembly election results.
