Gang Robs Chennai Massage Centre Employees at Knifepoint
In a brazen late-night incident, a five-member gang targeted a private massage centre in Velachery, Chennai, robbing women employees at knifepoint and making off with their valuables. The robbery occurred on Saturday night, sending shockwaves through the local community and prompting a swift police response.
Sequence of Events Leading to the Robbery
According to police reports, the group initially visited the massage centre, with one of the men appearing to be inebriated. The staff, concerned by his behavior and the overall disruption, politely asked the men to leave the premises. This request, however, sparked anger among the group.
After leaving the building, the men returned a short time later, armed with knives, and launched their attack. They threatened the employees, forcing them to hand over their belongings under duress. The assailants then fled the scene, escaping with mobile phones and approximately 10 grams of gold jewellery taken from the staff members.
