In a strong disciplinary move, the Municipal Corporation suspended two officials. Dr. Inderdeep Kaur, the Medical Officer of Health, and Praveen Kumar, the Inspector of the Cattle Pound in Raipur Kalan, were relieved of their duties pending investigation.
"The Municipal Corporation has suspended Dr. Inderdeep Kaur, Medical Officer of Health, and Praveen Kumar, Inspector, Cattle Pound, Raipur Kalan," Commissioner Kumar stated in an official release.
