A devastating road accident on the outskirts of Phagwara resulted in the tragic deaths of two family members and left four others injured, including two children, on Wednesday evening. The incident occurred when the family's car, travelling from Amritsar to Ludhiana, collided with a stationary private bus on the National Highway.

The injured individuals were swiftly transported to the Civil Hospital in Phagwara for emergency treatment. Tragically, two of the victims were declared brought dead upon arrival. The deceased have been identified as Pritam Singh, an elderly man, and Gagandeep Kaur.
