Bijnor Restaurant Employee Secretly Recorded Couples in Private Cabin for Months

In a shocking incident in Bijnor, a restaurant employee has been accused of secretly recording young couples inside a private cabin for several months. Police revealed that the matter came to light after approximately 200 private videos of different couples were discovered on the employee's mobile phone.

Disturbing Discovery Leads to Restaurant Sealing

Following the disturbing discovery, authorities immediately sealed the restaurant. On Monday, police teams conducted raids at multiple locations in search of the main accused, identified as Satendra Kumar. Bijnor circle officer Sangram Singh stated that Satendra allegedly made objectionable videos of young couples, primarily students, without their consent and circulated them online.

Police have also seized CCTV DVRs from the premises as part of their investigation.

How the Voyeurism Operation Worked

According to a police officer familiar with the case, the restaurant charged extra money to provide couples with access to a private space. This cabin was situated near a staircase inside the restaurant and was furnished with a sofa and curtains for privacy.

Exploiting the cabin's secluded location, Satendra reportedly created a tiny hole into the small room, enabling him to engage in voyeurism and record intimate moments without detection.

The Incident That Uncovered the Scandal

The entire operation was exposed on February 4 when a couple inside the cabin grew suspicious of Satendra's behavior. They called an acquaintance to check his phone, leading to the shocking discovery of more than 200 private videos stored on the device.

Based on this discovery, an FIR was registered against Satendra on February 6 under BNS section 77 (voyeurism), following a complaint filed by a sub-inspector.

Community Concerns and Ongoing Investigation

Local residents have expressed concern that no action has been taken against the restaurant owner or other employees. They added that the accused, who is currently absconding, allegedly shot the videos clandestinely with the additional intention of blackmailing the young victims.

Police continue their search for Satendra Kumar while investigating the full extent of the privacy violations and potential circulation of the recorded material online.
