Bhilwara Police Cracks Down on Scooter Robbery, Nabs Four Accused
Police in Bhilwara made a significant breakthrough on Monday. They arrested four individuals in connection with a daring robbery. The crime involved a scooter and a substantial amount of cash. The incident originally took place on January 12.

Narayan Das, son of Bhagwan Das Sindhi, was returning home late at night. He had just closed his shop in central Bhilwara. The time was around 11 pm in the Kotwali police station area. Unknown assailants on two motorcycles suddenly attacked him. They forcefully took his scooter and fled the scene. Importantly, the scooter's storage compartment contained Rs 4 lakh in cash.
Narayan Das immediately filed a complaint with the police. Based on his statement, authorities registered a case under various sections. The Kotwali police station took charge of the investigation from the start.
Police Investigation and Arrests
Bhilwara SP Dharmendra Singh confirmed the details of the case. A special police team quickly formed to tackle the robbery. This team operated under the supervision of senior officers. Bhilwara ASP Paras Jain and Bhilwara City DySP Sajjan Singh oversaw the efforts. Kotwali police station in-charge Shivraj Gurjar led the team directly.
Shivraj Gurjar provided crucial insights during the investigation. He revealed that one of the arrested men previously worked as an accountant for a gutkha trader. This accountant left his job about forty-five days ago. Because of his former position, he possessed inside knowledge. He knew about the trader's income patterns and his regular home route. This information proved essential for planning the robbery.
The police team meticulously examined CCTV footage from around the crime scene. They carefully studied the appearance of the criminals captured on camera. Based on this visual evidence, officers detained four suspects for questioning. The detained individuals included Kana, also known as Kanhaiya Lal, Vikram alias Vicky, Raju, and Kishan.
During intensive interrogation, all four men confessed to their involvement in the crime. Police subsequently placed them under formal arrest. Authorities are now actively working to recover the stolen Rs 4 lakh from the accused. Efforts continue to ensure the complete return of the looted amount.
