Bengaluru Woman Murders Lover in Jealous Rage Over Ex-Girlfriend Reunion

Police in Bengaluru have uncovered a chilling and meticulously planned murder case where a 27-year-old woman allegedly killed her 29-year-old boyfriend after discovering he had reconnected with his former partner. The brutal incident, which occurred in the Anjananagar area under Byadarahalli police limits in northwest Bengaluru, reveals a tale of jealousy, betrayal, and cold-blooded calculation.

From Colleagues to Lovers: A Relationship Turns Deadly

The accused, identified as Prema, and the victim, Kiran LN, were colleagues at a mobile service store in Rajajinagar. Their professional relationship blossomed into a romantic one, but with vastly different expectations. While Prema was reportedly eager to advance their relationship toward marriage, Kiran had allegedly begun to withdraw emotionally and physically.

The situation reached a breaking point when Prema discovered on Kiran's phone that he had recently celebrated his ex-girlfriend's birthday. This revelation, combined with his growing distance and apparent reluctance to commit, allegedly pushed Prema into a state of intense emotional turmoil. According to police statements, this jealousy and anger became the primary motive for the horrific crime that followed.

A Calculated and Brutal Murder Plan

Investigators reveal that Prema did not act on impulse. Instead, she allegedly formulated a detailed plan to end Kiran's life. She purchased petrol, kerosene, and rope in preparation for the murder. Under the pretext of a private meeting, she invited Kiran to her residence in Anjananagar.

Once there, police say she lured him into an intimate BDSM activity involving role-play. This setting provided the opportunity for her to carry out her deadly scheme. The attack was so violent that it resulted in Kiran's death at the scene.

Discovery and Aftermath

The crime came to light when Kiran's father, Narasimhaiah, received a distressing call from a villager informing him that his son had been killed in Bengaluru. He immediately rushed to the city and arrived at the Anjananagar residence in the evening.

Upon reaching the location, Narasimhaiah learned from building owner Chetan Kumar and neighbors that Prema had emerged from her second-floor apartment screaming for help to save Kiran. Residents attempted to control the situation by using buckets of water to douse flames, but when their efforts proved insufficient, they alerted police and fire emergency services.

Confession and Motive

When questioned by both Narasimhaiah and police authorities, Prema reportedly confessed to being in a relationship with Kiran. She admitted that disputes had arisen over what she described as "minor issues," but the central conflict revolved around his renewed connection with his former girlfriend.

In her statement to investigators, Prema allegedly declared that she decided Kiran "should not marry anyone else" and meticulously planned to kill him. She further revealed that she had contemplated suicide following the murder but developed "cold feet" upon witnessing Kiran suffer during his final moments.

The Byadarahalli police have registered a case and taken Prema into custody as their investigation continues to uncover further details about this tragic case of relationship violence turned deadly.
