Bengaluru Police Arrest Actress and Boyfriend in Live-in Partner Murder Case

In a shocking incident from Bengaluru, police have apprehended an actress, her boyfriend, and his associate on charges of murdering her live-in partner. The crime unfolded after an alcohol party in Vijayalakshmi Layout, Bagalagunte, located in north-west Bengaluru.

Details of the Alleged Murder

The victim, identified as 29-year-old Mohan Krishna, worked as a pigmy collector and small-time financier. He was allegedly stabbed to death on Saturday night. The accused include Krishna's live-in partner, Urvashi, also known as Bindu, aged 26; her boyfriend Vinay Kumar, 26, a truck driver; and his associate Dhanush, 24, who is self-employed.

According to police investigations, Krishna and Bindu had rented a house three months ago, presenting themselves as a newlywed couple. However, both were married and separated from their respective spouses, having been in a relationship for nearly a year. Bindu claims to have acted in minor roles in a few Kannada films and television serials, and she also worked as an assistant to directors of tele-serials.

Motivation and Planning of the Crime

Police reports indicate that Bindu fell in love with Vinay, a bachelor from Bagalagunte. She informed Krishna of her intention to marry Vinay, which he strongly opposed. This disagreement led to frequent fights, and their house owner, Nataraj, discovered they were not actually a couple.

Determined to marry, Vinay and Bindu decided to eliminate Krishna and enlisted Dhanush's help. Dhanush, who had sustained financial losses in his hotel business, was lured by Vinay with money to assist in the murder. The trio invited Krishna to an alcohol party at a desolate location. After consuming alcohol, they gagged Krishna, taped his mouth, stabbed him, and fled the scene after his death.

All three accused are now in police custody. The investigation is ongoing, with authorities examining the evidence and statements to build a strong case. This incident highlights the complexities of personal relationships and the severe consequences of unresolved disputes.
