Acting on credible intelligence regarding the alleged sale and purchase of illegal substances, a specialized police team executed the raid. The team was led by Namsai Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Kengo Dirchi, with support from Namsai police station officer-in-charge Inspector AK Pandey and additional personnel. The raid occurred at the residence of Chow Muthula Manchey around 2:30 PM on March 9.

Following the raid, police have formally registered a case against the accused under Section 21(b) of the NDPS Act, 1985, which pertains to the possession and sale of narcotic substances. Authorities have emphasized that the investigation is ongoing, with further details expected to emerge as they delve deeper into the case and potential networks involved in drug trafficking in the region.
