The victim, identified as Om Prakash Kumar, was carrying Rs 3.90 lakh. He was on his way to deposit the money at a bank located in Rajendra Nagar. As he traveled along Jagat Narayan Road, his journey was violently interrupted.

According to the police complaint, the miscreants were riding a motorcycle. They intercepted Kumar on the road. One of the assailants brandished a pistol, threatening the collection agent. In a matter of moments, they seized the bag containing the cash and fled the scene on their bike.

The entire episode happened quickly, leaving Kumar shaken but physically unharmed. He immediately reported the crime to the authorities.
