Beautician Shot in Leg During Late-Night Salon Attack
In a shocking incident that has sent ripples of fear through the local community, a beautician was shot and injured during an alleged extortion attempt at her beauty parlour in Amritsar district. The attack occurred late on Friday night in the Jandiala Guru area, targeting the salon's owner, identified as Kashish.
Sequence of the Violent Incident
According to police reports, two unidentified assailants arrived on a motorcycle and opened indiscriminate fire at the salon's shutter. In the hail of bullets, one round struck Kashish in her leg, causing her to collapse on the spot. Her husband, Kuldeep, who was present inside the establishment at the time, managed to escape unharmed.
The attackers are reported to have fired four to five rounds before fleeing the scene. Witnesses and police accounts state that the duo waved their weapons in the air as they made their escape, adding to the terror of the moment.
