According to the official complaint filed with Anandnagar police on Friday, the accused, identified as a resident of Paldi, arrived at the gym reception claiming to be a friend of the trainer. The visitor then escorted the trainer into the changing room where he demanded the immediate return of Rs 32,000 that had been paid by his female acquaintance.
The situation quickly escalated into physical violence when the accused allegedly grabbed the trainer's hair, slapped him repeatedly on the face, and used abusive language. The trainer stated in his complaint that the assault was unprovoked and directly related to the financial dispute over the refund amount.
Security Guard Intervention and Subsequent Threats
A security guard stationed at the fitness centre intervened to stop the assault, but the confrontation continued. The complainant reported that the attacker also struck the security guard before finally leaving the premises. Before departing, the accused allegedly issued a threatening warning that he would return the following day, adding to the trauma experienced by the victim and staff members.
Following the incident, the trainer informed a staff member at the gym about the entire episode. The staff member subsequently submitted a formal application detailing the assault, which led to the registration of the police case.
