A devastating late-night car crash in the Gomtinagar area of Lucknow resulted in one fatality and left three other individuals with serious injuries, according to police reports on Sunday.
Details of the Fatal Incident
The accident took place on Saturday night near the Lohia crossing. The deceased has been identified as Deepak Bisht, who worked as a manager for an education technology company based in Gomtinagar. Police stated that the tragic event occurred while Bisht was returning after dropping a friend at the Alambagh bus terminal.
Sequence of Events and Rescue
Initial reports suggest that the vehicle went out of control, crashed into a road divider, and overturned due to the severe impact. Following the collision, Bisht was immediately taken to the emergency ward of the Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
The other three occupants of the car were also seriously hurt in the crash. They have been named as Prateek Bind, Shivam Chaurasia, and Anurag. All three are currently undergoing medical treatment for their injuries.

Local authorities have confirmed that an investigation into the exact cause of the accident is underway. Police are examining CCTV footage from the vicinity of Lohia crossing to piece together the events that led to the vehicle losing control.
